Example 3, Breast Reduction with Free nipple graft

 

 

A woman, single, age 28 years old, had problem with moderate to severe breast hypertrophy. She had difficulty in buying bras, doing exercise and sport.

Breast reduction with free nipple areolar graft technique is selected. 800 Grams and 850 Grams breast tissue are excised from each breasts. On the right breast, the skin is too much removed , so an immediate strip of skin autograft is used to cover the gap. All the grafts heal uneventfully. The final breast contour, 2 years after surgery is very satisfactory.
