Example 1, Breast Reduction with Pedicle flap

 

 

A woman , married, has children, age 46 years old, had moderate breast hypertrophy and requested for smaller breasts. 280 and 285 Grams of breast tissue are excised from both breasts. The technique used in this case is Vertical Bipedicle Dermal Flap. Both nipple areolar complexes are still attached to the pedicle flap. So the appearance and sensation of nipples are still remained intact. The post operative photos were taken 1 week after surgery.
