Example 7, Breast Implants Exchange

A male transsexual , 31 years old, had saline, 325ccs breast implants done 8 years ago through armpit incisions. The breast implants were located in not proper position; too low and too lateral. There was also capsular contracture around the right breast implant.

Revision mammaplasty had been done using the breast fold incisions, expanding space for the new implants at the top and inner sides. The capsule at the bottom and lateral part were removed. The space below the new breast folds and along the lateral side were closed down by internal sutures. External interrupted Nylon sutures were placed temporarily for 7 days to secure the implants in proper location Exchange old implants to texture surface, round, modedrate profile, 350 ccs silicone gel implants, under Pectoralis chest muscle. The patient was very pleased with new breasts. Post operative photos were taken 2 weeks after surgery.
