Example 6, Breast Implants Exchange

 

 

A woman, married, no children, 27 years old, had breast implants done 5 years ago using anatomic shape, 250 ccs. Saline breast implants through armpit incisions. The new breasts were not in good shape; too low breast folds and deformed contour from rotating implants and capsular contracture.

So revision mammaplasty had been done using the breast fold incisions, expanding space for the new implants at the top and inner sides. The capsule at the bottom part was removed and space below the new breast folds were closed down by internal sutures. Exchange old implants to texture surface, round, high profile, 230 ccs silicone gel implants, over Pectoralis chest muscle. The patient was very pleased with her new breasts. Post operative photos were taken 3 weeks after surgery.
