A married female with children, 46 years old, had moderate breast hypertrophy and requested smaller breasts. 280 and 285 grams of breast tissue were excised from the two breasts. The technique used in this case was by Vertical Bipedicle Dermal Flap. Both nipple areolar complexes remain attached to the pedicle flap and, therefore, the appearance and sensation of the nipples were retained. The post operative photos were taken 1 week after surgery.

 

 

 

 

A married female with children, 50 years old, had suffered from massive breast hypertrophy. She had difficulty in her daily life and with finding suitable clothing. Breast reduction using a free nipple areolar graft technique was selected, and 1,200 grams and 1,250 grams breast tissue were excised from the two breasts. Both free nipple areolar grafts healed uneventfully and there was no wound complication. The patient is extremely pleased with her new smaller breasts. The post operative photos were taken 1 month after surgery.
